Lattiform Ltd is an early-stage company in Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom, building CAD and structural simulation that run entirely on Apple Silicon.
Analysis should run where the design already is.
Local by design
Parts under NDA, unreleased products and defence-adjacent work do not need to be uploaded to a third party to be analysed. Geometry, meshes and results stay on the Mac.
Written for this hardware
The element formulation, the multigrid preconditioner and the Metal kernels are Lattiform’s own, written for Apple Silicon rather than wrapped around another solver.
Evidence before marketing
Gates are declared before a verification run, a failing gate blocks publication, and limits are published with the results.

Work on Lattiform begins.
September 2026
Verification reports V3 (4 Sep) and V4 (17 Sep) for the former FEA Preview’s linear route, and V6 (24 Sep) for a nonlinear solver source revision.
October 2026
Lattiform’s first releases shipped on 8, 14, 15 and 19 October 2026, with a CAD workspace (then named Model Prep), FEA Lab and a local MCP server; the 19 October release added Design Explorer. The free FEA Preview is no longer offered.
In development
Verifying FEA Lab’s Local refinement and feature-aware element sizing. Both are in the 19 October release but not yet verified; Local refinement is off unless you turn it on.
Who builds it.
Lattiform is built independently in the UK by a mechanical engineering student, working on it since July 2025. Every support email is answered by the person who wrote the solver.
