COMPANY
Lattiform builds finite element analysis that runs entirely on the machine in front of you. No cloud queue, no licence server, and no second workstation in the corner of the office. The company is early-stage and based in Yorkshire, in the United Kingdom.

WHY LOCAL
Analysis should run where the design already is.
Apple Silicon put a capable GPU inside the machine engineers already design on, and Metal makes it addressable. Lattiform is built directly on that: the solver is the company’s own, written for this hardware rather than ported onto it, and every study is posed, solved and inspected without leaving the Mac.
The geometry never leaves the machine
Parts under NDA, unreleased products and defence-adjacent work do not need to be uploaded to a third party to be analysed. There is nothing to queue and nothing to retain.
The GPU you already paid for
One million HEXA8 elements and 3,108,864 degrees of freedom solve in a 511 ms warm median on an Apple M5 Pro, measured and published in Report V4. No cluster, no credits, no per-solve cost.
Bought once, not rented
Licences are one-off and there is no licence server to phone home to. A free tier exists so an engineer can judge the tool on their own part before any money changes hands.
WHERE WE START
FEA Preview is the beachhead, not the destination.
FEA Preview does one job properly: linear static stress analysis on a structured HEXA8 grid, solved locally on Apple Silicon with Metal, with the convergence and equilibrium record shown beside every result. Starting narrow is deliberate. It is the part of the problem that can be verified end to end today, and it is the part an engineer reaches for first when they want to know whether a bracket will hold.
PRODUCT DIRECTION · UNDER DEVELOPMENT
Where the same foundation leads next.
The work below is under development. It is not part of FEA Preview today, it is not for sale, and nothing here is a commitment to a release date or a specific capability.
Strength — generative design
Under development. The same local Metal foundation, applied to topology and generative design: the solver proposes material layout against stress, stiffness and manufacturing limits instead of only reporting on a shape that already exists. Not available in FEA Preview.
Model preparation
Under development. Bringing more of the path from imported CAD to a solvable study inside the application, so that defeaturing and study setup stop being a separate stage in a separate tool.
TECHNICAL EVIDENCE
The solver’s evidence is published in full, including the limits.
Verification Report V4 is a 208-page record of a frozen run: every acceptance gate declared before the runs, every gate named and evaluated, and every limitation written down. It contains no physical validation and claims no certification by any standards body and no equivalence to any commercial code. Report V3 remains published as the record for correlation against external benchmark tables.

PARTNERS & DESIGN PILOTS
We want to be judged on your parts, not our demos.
If you design load-bearing hardware on a Mac, we would like to put FEA Preview in front of a real part and a real deadline. A design pilot means we help you set up studies on your own geometry, you tell us where the tool is wrong or missing, and that feedback sets what gets built next.
Design pilots
For engineering teams and consultancies with Apple Silicon Macs and parts to check. Tell us the part, the loads and the deadline, and we will tell you honestly whether this route can represent it.

Investors and partners
For investors, research partners and hardware or CAD vendors who want the technical detail behind the product. The verification reports are the honest starting point; the rest is a conversation.

EXECUTION
A small team that ships, and shows its working.
Lattiform is built independently in the UK by a mechanical engineering student, working on it since July 2025. The claim worth checking is not the biography, it is the record: a Metal solver written for Apple Silicon, packaged into a shipping macOS application, and a 208-page verification report whose limitations are stated as plainly as its results. Every support email is answered by the person who wrote the solver.
The solver is ours
The element formulation, the multigrid preconditioner and the Metal kernels are written in house, not wrapped around a third-party solver. That is what makes the local, one-machine route possible at all.
Evidence before marketing
Gates are declared before a run, a failing gate blocks publication, and rows that cannot be posed through this route are recorded rather than dropped. The reports are published whole, not summarised.
Shipping, not presenting
FEA Preview runs today on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later, with a free tier so the tool can be judged on a real part before anyone pays for it.
